The AGSM Dean’s Scholarship winner for 2007, Neetu Pundir, selected the AGSM MBA program because of its reputation for being the best in the region.

“The Forbes and Financial Times ranking placed AGSM within the top 50 business schools globally. It was a clear indication of the School’s quality,” Ms Pundir said.

“AGSM’s ranking was the primary reason I enrolled in its MBA program. Winning the AGSM Dean’s Scholarship was an added bonus – the icing on the cake,” Ms Pundir said.

Ms Pundir completed her bachelor degree in business studies in India, and worked in Bombay before embarking on her MBA studies in Sydney.

Her ambition and leadership capabilities led to her appointment as Team Leader of a corporate strategy group at ICICI Bank within six months of joining the firm.

Ms Pundir aims to apply her AGSM MBA and business skills to a career in strategic consulting.

“I believe my studies at AGSM are a great step in expanding my career opportunities,” said Ms Pundir. “I would like to work in one of the global consulting firms in Sydney before going back to India to start my own firm.”

“I’m enjoying my studies so far. I believe my AGSM MBA will equip me with the global qualification and exposure I need to be successful in running my own consulting firm,” she said.
