Oren Danziger’s ambition is to be an entrepreneur in the Asia-Pacific region. He enrolled in AGSM’s MBA program to gain a foothold in the Asian business market and the global business sphere.

Mr Danziger worked for a number of law firms and a software company in Israel before commencing his studies at AGSM. His work experiences exposed him to various aspects of business management - investment and venture capital funds, branding and marketing of new products, mergers and acquisitions.

Alongside these professions, Mr Danziger was also a professional soccer player in the Israeli Premier League. He travelled with his team to most countries in Europe (except for Portugal), and played in Mexico, Guatemala and Azerbaijan.

“I chose to study at AGSM because I know it will help me leverage my abilities, and expose myself to the gamut of businesses in the Asia-Pacific region," said Mr Danziger.

“Every country I visited was a study opportunity for me. I met new people from different environments. More importantly, I learnt to respect their culture and history,” he said.

Mr Danziger decided to pursue his business studies at AGSM last year, in place of a project management position in South Africa.

“It was a big decision to make,” he said. “I chose to study at AGSM because I know it will help me leverage my abilities, and expose myself to the gamut of businesses in the Asia-Pacific region.

“AGSM’s diverse student body represents a variety of educational, professional, and cultural backgrounds. The team-based skills and the School’s powerful alumni network played a critical role in my decision to study here.

“I believe AGSM alumni gain first-class entry tickets into the business world. What better way to access the growing Asian business market, than with an MBA from a top ranking business school situated in the region?” he said.

Mr Danziger plans to join a top-tier consulting firm, specialise in the development of international business strategies and become an entrepreneur. He hopes to advance the connections between Israel’s ground-breaking start ups, and the Australian and Asian business markets.
