Call to Engagement

A business school needs the involvement and support of the corporate sector to ensure it remains relevant in both curriculum and research; to provide employment opportunities for its graduates; to provide the case studies and personal stories which enhance the classroom learning experience; and to provide sponsorship and financial support to enhance teaching and research.

A business school does not become a leading business school today without a significant level of engagement from alumni. We want alumni to get engaged:

• tell us your stories and your successes so we can publicise them
• recommend AGSM programs to potential students
• hire our graduates in your organisation, MBA and MBA(Executive)
• encourage your organisation to use our custom and executive education programs
• provide internships in your organisation
• invite colleagues and potential students to life long learning events
• act as mentors to current students. Become an alumni mentor and get involved in the Alumni Mentor Program
• speak at our information evenings and events
• donate funds – ongoing contributions from alumni will help us close the gap in resources with our competitor schools, will help us to raise the profile of AGSM Programs and ultimately will enhance the equity our alumni hold in the AGSM degree
• host events such as boardroom briefings at your organisation
• advertise job vacancies on “AGSM Jobs Online” to make it the best professional job network in Australia
