Their work, which is published in world-class academic, business and practitioner journals, has made seminal contributions to management practice. Faculty teaching on AGSM programs have been recognised by a number of prestigious awards and prizes, and some of these faculty have been identified in international surveys as the leading figures worldwide in their academic fields, based on their career publications.

Faculty are selected to teach on AGSM programs from the wider group of academics working in the Australian School of Business. Their research is international, with classic work undertaken in the major discipline areas such as finance, organisational behaviour, statistics and marketing, as well as cross-discipline research in general management, strategy, corporate governance, and management decision making.
